OUR MISSION
The Nurture Educational and Multicultural Society aims to develop knowledgeable and caring communities who help to create a better and more peaceful Glasgow through intercultural understanding and respect.
To this end the Nurture Educational and Multicultural Society works with individuals, NGOs, charities, government, social enterprises and international organizations to develop educational programmes of public education and social cohesion.
Our programmes encourage individuals and communities in Glasgow to become active, compassionate, responsible and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right.
OUR VISION
The Nurture Educational and Multicultural Society is to be a place where we all work together to build forthright peaceful and intercultural communities in Glasgow.
Nurture Multicultural Centre envisions a society where every person views and treats each other with dignity, people come around shared values to promote the common good of their communities as well as the world as a whole.
Nurture Multicultural Centre also encourages discussion and analysis, particularly educational and cultural activities, on a variety of issues related to peaceful and respectful coexistence in Scottish societies.
By doing so, it aims to provide practical contributions to decision-making processes regarding relevant developments and issues affecting community relations in Scotland.
